ANGLO SAXON, Kings of Mercia, Coenwulf (796-821), Group II (c808-810), Canterbury Mint penny, Beornfrith (1.29g) (S.915; N.344, SCBI30, 189). Slight part of rim missing at eleven o'clock, otherwise toned good very fine and rare.
