Valentinian II, (A.D. 375-392), billon maiorina (3.99g), Heraclea mint, issued 383-86 AD, obv. helmeted, diademed, and cuirassed bust to right, holding spear and shield, DN VALENTINIANVS PF AVG around, rev. Valentinian II in military attire, standing left on galley, head right, right hand raised, Victory at helm, GLORIA ROMANORVM around, SMHB in exergue (S.20258; RIC IX 11b), Toned, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
