Valens, (A.D. 364-378), silver siliqua (1.97g), Constantinople mint, 4th officina, struck 364-7, pbv. diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right, VALENS PF AVG aruond, rev. VOT V in two lines within laurel wreath, C A, dot between, star to left in exergue (S.19681; RIC IX 13j var; RSC 88ti). Edge chips at 3 and 8 o'clock, rough surfaces, very fine.
