Valerian, (A.D. 253-260), antoninianus, Rome Mint, issued 255, (2.41 g), obv. radiate bust draped and cuirassed to right, around IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS AVG, rev. Victory standing left holding wreath and palm, VICTORIA AVGG around, (S.9985, RIC 125, RSC 230) (illustration); another, (3.79 g), rev. Sol standing left, holding whip, (S.2887, RIC 12). Toning, nearly very fine - very fine and scarce. (2)
