Herennius Etruscus, son of Trajan Decius (A.D. 250-1), silver antoninianus (4.47g), Rome mint, issued 250 AD, obv. radiate and raped bust right, Q HER ETR MES DECIVS NOB, rev. emblems of the priestley college, PIETAS AVGVSTORVM around (S.9521; RIC IV 143; RSC 14); another (2.70g) (possible forgery?), rev. Spes advancing left, holding flower and lifting skirt, SPES PVBLICA around (S.9526; RIC IV 149). Very fine. (2)
