Caracalla, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius (3.17g), Rome mint, issued 199 AD, obv. laureate and draped bust right, CAES M AVR ANTON AVG, rev. Caracalla in military dress, standing left, holding a globe surmounted by Victory in right hand, upturned spear in left, Parthian captive at feet to left, IVVENTA IMPERII around (S.6812; RIC IV 20; RSC 115); Geta, as Ceasar, (198-209 AD), silver denarius (3.23g), Rome mint, issued 199 AD, obv. bare headed and draped bust right, P SEPT GETA CAES PONT, rev. Nobilitas standing, facing, head right, holding scepter and palladium, NOBILITAS around (S.7184; RIV IV 13a; RSC 90). Toned, very fine. (2)
