Julia Domna, wife of Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-217), silver denarius (3.14g), Rome mint, issued 201 AD, pbv. draped bust facing right, IVLIA AVGVSTA around, rev. Ising standing right, wearing Polos, left food on prow, rudder against altar behind and resting toddler Horus on knee, SAECVLI FELICITAS around (S.6606; RIC IV 577; RSC 173).^Small spot of verdigris on neck, very fine.
Ex S.J. Green Collection, purchased from Heritage Auctions 231634 (lot 64074). Previously in a slab by NGC as Ch XF (certificate number 4247935-039).
