Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius (3.48g), Rome mint, issued 202-3 AD, obv. laureate bust right, SEVERVS PIVS AVG around, rev. Fortuna seated left, holding a rudder and cornucopiae, wheel under seat, FORTVNA REDVX around (S.6334; RIC IV 189b; RSC 461). Toned, underlying lustre, nearly extremely fine.
