Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius (3.18g), Rome mint, issued 202 AD, obv. laureate bust facing right, SEVERUS PIVS AVG around, rev. two captives seated back to back at foot of trophy, PART MAX P M TR P X COS III P P around (S.6323; RIC IV 176; RSC 370). Dark toned, very fine.
