Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D. 141), AE sestertius, Rome Mint, (24.09 g), issued after A.D. 141, obv. DIVA FAVSTINA, draped bust of Faustina I to right, hair elaborately waved and piled in bun on top of head, rev. AVGVSTA around, Ceres standing left holding two torches, S C across field, (S.4615, RIC 1120). Attractive dark green patination, very fine or better, scarce.
