Hadrian, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius (3.34g), Rome mint, issued 133-5 AD, obv. bare head of Hadrian facing right, HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. Tellus reclining left, resting on basket of fruits, right hand resting on globe, vine branch against left arm, TELLVS around, STABIL in exergue (S.3544; RIC II.3 2051; RSC 1429). Very fine and very scarce, especially in this condition.

Ex S.J. Green Collection, purchased from Noble Numismatics Sale 113 (lot 4579). Previously ex I.S. Wright, Sydney 18/8/2008.
