SENATVS POPVLVSQVE ROMANVS, S C across field, Trajan in military dress, advancing right, looking back, between two trophies, (S.3219, RIC 676, C.356) (illustrated); AE as, issued 107, Rome mint, (9.88 g), obv. laureate head to right of Trajan with drapery on far shoulder, around IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TR P COS V P P, rev. Victory walking to left, holding laurel branch in right hand and palm branch in left hand, around SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI, SC across field, (cf.S.3233, RIC 521, C.436).
