Mars standing right, holding spear and shield, SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI, (S.3158; RSC 378a; RIC II 162); orichalcum sestertius (25.70g), Rome mint, issued 99 AD, obv. laureate head right, IMP CAES [NER]VA TRAIAN [AVG GER]M PM, rev. Pax seated left, holding branch and sceptre, [TR POT COS] II P [P] (S.-; RIC II 390; Woytek 27a). Toned, very fine; large areas of corosion, particularly on reverse, scratches, nearly very fine. (2)
