Trajan, (A.D. 98-117), silver denarius (3.51g), Rome mint, issued 98-9 AD, obv. laureate head of Trajan right, around IMP CAES NERVA TRAIAN AVG GERM, rev. Pax standing to left holding branch and cornucopiae, around PONT MAX TR POT COS II, (S.3152, RIC II 17, RSC 292). Light toning, nearly very fine and scarce.
Ex S.J. Green Collection, purchased from Noble Numismatics Sale 104 (lot 4843). Previously ex Barry Allen Jones Collection from M.R. Roberts.
