Claudius, (A.D. 41-54), copper quadrans (2.77g), Rome mint, issued 41 AD, obv. three legged modius, around TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG, rev. S C in centre around PON M TR P IMP P COS DES I, (cf.S.1865, RIC 84, BMC 179, Hunter 74). Very fine, scarce.
