Augustus, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE quadrans, Rome Mint, issued 5 B.C. by Apronius, Galus, Messalla and Sisenna, the IIIviri monetales, (3.08 g), obv. MESSALLA GALVS III VIR around altar, rev. SISENNA APRONIVS AAAFF around SC, (S.1701, RIC 456). Brown patina, some surface porosity, nearly very fine and scarce.
