Syria, Antioch ad Orontem, Elagabalus, (218-22 AD), billon tetradrachm (13.10g), Emesan issue, obv. laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust facing right, AUT K M A ANTW[NEINOS SEB] rev. eagle standing, facing, head left, wreath in beak and star between legs, [DHMARC EX UPAT]OS TO B (S.3096; Prieur 252; BMC 4180). Cleaned, porous, flan flaw at 12 on obverse, nearly very fine.
Ex S.J. Green Collection, purchased from Heritage Auctions 231648 (lot 61062). Previously in a slab by NGC as Ch VF (certificate number 4252641-141).
