Kyrenaica, Kyrene, Magas as Ptolemaic Governor, first reign, (c.300-282/75 B.C.), silver didrachm, (7.72 g), obv. head of Karneios right, rev. Silphium plant, crab to upper left, monogram to upper right, K Y - **P* A to sides, (cf.S.6323, SNG Cop.1243, BMC 254 [same dies]). Attractively toned, strong portrait, very fine and very scarce.
