Kyrenaica, Kyrene, Magas as Ptolemaic Governor, first reign, (c.300-282/75 B.C.), silver didrachm, (7.63 g), obv. head of Karneios left, rev. Silphium plant, I and monogram^to upper right, KY - **P* A to sides, (S.-, SNG Cop.1239 var [coiled serpent to left], BMC 246-8, Muller Afrique 1174). Lightly toned, surface scratches, good fine and very scarce.
