Kyrenaika, Kyrene, silver drachm, (c.500-480 B.C.), (3.89 g, Attic standard), obv. Silphium fruit, pellet above, ring below, rev. patterned incuse square, (S.-, BMC 6, SNG Cop -, Buttrey Coins Period I, Group 1A, 9-25 var [unlisted variety]). Deposits of roughness and light scratches, off centre on obverse, nearly very fine and very rare.
