Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy VII Neos Dionysos (Auletes), second reign, (55-51 BC), silver tetradrachm (14.01g), Alexandria mint, dated RY 30 (52/1 BC), obv, diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis, rev. eagle standing right on thunderbolt, wings closed and palm branch behind, L**L* (date) to left over headress of isis, **PA* to right, **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU* around (CPE 1692; Svoronos 1840; SNG Cop 397). Toned, cleaning scratches, obverse struck slightly offcentre, nearly very fine.
