Syria, Kingdom of, Antiochos VIII, (121-96 BC), silver tetradrachm (15.54g), Antioch on the Orontes mint, obv. diademed head of Antiochus VIII right, rev. Zeus enthroned left, holding Nike in right hand and sceptre in left, **BASILEWS ANTIOXOV* to right and **EPIFANOVS* inner left, EP monogram over A to far left (SC 2309.2a: HGC 9 1200; Babelon 1435:b). Nearly extremely fine/ very fine.
