Caria, Rhodos, (c.205-190 B.C.), silver didrachm, (5.51 g), obv. radiate head of Helios three-quarter face to right, hair loose in locks, rev. inside a dotted circle, rose with bud to right, above **ARISTOBOULOS* to left ear of corn, to left P, to right, O, (cf.S.5048, BMC 137 (p.243), (SNG Keckman [Finland] chronology c.205-190 B.C.), Ashton [Money in Ancient Greek world] 276 [p.108], SNG Keckman [Finland 1] -, SNG Von Aulock -, SNG Cop. -). As struck, extremely fine, bright and very rare.
