Boeotia, Thebes, (382-363 B.C.), silver stater, Wast., Magistrate, (12.08 g), obv. Boiotian shield, rev. amphora, in concave field, with ivy branch with four leaves and berries sprouting forth above, across letters FA **S*T either side, (cf.S.2398, Hepworth 39 (same rev die as illustration), BCD Boiotia 497 (same dies), HGC 4, 1330). Good very fine - nearly extremely fine, scarce.
