Thessaly, Trikka, (c.440-400 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (16mm, 2.85 g, 2h), obv. Thessalos, petasos and cloak tied at neck, holding band around head of forepart of bull right T**R*IK KA ION (retrograde) around, rev. forepart of bridled horse right within shallow incuse circle, (S.2226, BCD Thessaly I 1351 var (orientation of ethnic), BCD Thessaly II 775.2-3 var (same), HGC 4, 311). Lightly toned, very fine or better and scarce.
