Macedon, Kingdom of Philip III Arrhidaios, (323-317 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.09 g), uncertain mint in Cilicia, issued under Philoxenos, 320-318/7 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right with lion skin, dotted border, rev. Zeus seated to left, eagle in outstretched hand, to right **BASILEWS FILIPPOU*, monogram below throne, dotted border, (cf.S.6749, Price p120 [Side Mint]). Lightly toned, scattered surface marks, very fine and very rare.
