Macedon, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.12 g), Kassander as regent, Uranopolis Mint?, issued c.310-297 B.C. under Alexarchos, obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, star on cone in left field, below throne, **Q* above strut, **P* below, to right **ALEXANDROU*, (cf.S.6713, Price 521, Ehrhardt 65). Lightly toned, good very fine.
