Macedon, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.25 g), Teos Mint, Antigonos I Monophthalmos, struck as Strategos of Asia, issued 320-306/5 BC, or king, 306/5-301 BC, obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, **HD* mongram to left, **DR* monogram below throne, to right **ALEXANDR[OU]*, (cf.S.6730, Price 2290). Bright, very fine.
