Macedon, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.24 g), Arados Mint, struck under Menes, c.325/4-/324/3 B.C., obv. head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin, rev. Zeus Aetophoros seated left, **ALEXANDROU* to right downwards, AP monogram to left, (S.6727. Price 3424 [Byblos]). Light surface roughness, extremely fine and very scarce.
