Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (305-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.75 g), Perinthos Mint, issued c.283/2 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted border, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, shield at side, joined foreparts of two horses to inner left, two monograms in exergue, **BASILEWS* to right **LUSIMACOU* to left, (cf.S.6814, Thompson -, Muller 136). Lightly toned, minor areas of roughness, good very fine and very rare.
