Thrace, Kings of, Lysimachos, (305-281 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.22 g), issued in the name and type of Alexander^III of Macedon, Kolophon Mint, struck c.299/8 - 297/6 BC.^obv. head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin rev. Zeus^Aetophoros seated left, forepart of lion left above torch, pentagram below throne, **BASILEWS* below, in right field **[L]USIMACOU* (cf.S.6812, Thompson 126, Price L26, Muller 20). Lightly toned, good very fine and scarce.
