Thrace, Kings of, Lysimachos, (305-281 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.22 g), issued in the name and type of Alexander^III of Macedon, Abydos Mint, struck c.299/8 - 297/6 BC. obv. head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin rev. Zeus Aetophoros seated left, n left field, lion forepart left above monogram, below throne, head of griffin left, below throne, **BASILEWS*, in right field **LUSIMACO[U]* (cf.S.6812, Thompson 67, Price L18, Muller -). Nearly extremely fine and scarce.
