Thrace, Mesembria, (after 150 BC), in the name and type of Alexander III, silver tetradrachm (16.67g), magistrate **XOREIAS*, obv, head of young Herakles right wearing lion skin headdress, rev. Zeus enthroned left, holding eagle in right hand, sceptre in left, Corinthian helmet in left field, XO below, HPA below throne (cf S.6713; Karayotov 132 [pl. XXII 279-80]). Very fine and rare.
