Sicily, Syracuse, Agathokles, (317-289 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.04 g), struck circa 310-306/5 B.C., obv. **KORAS*, wreathed head of Kore to right, dotted border, rev. **AGAQOKLEOS*, Nike standing right, in the process of erecting trophy, holding nail in left hand and hammer in right, triskeles to lower left, dotted border, (S.974, cf.M. Ierardi., "Tetradrachms of Agathocles of Syracuse" in AJN 7-8 (1995-6) No. 135-184, BAR issue 23, SNG ANS 679, HGC 2, 1536). Toned, very fine/good very fine, scarce.
