Sicily, Panormos, (c.410-405 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.72 g), obv. slow quadriga driven to right by male charioteer, Nike flying right crowning horses, rev. **[PA]NO*R**MITIKON* retrograde around, laureate head of Apollo to right, (S.882 [?1400], Jenkins SNR 50, No.6.3 [This Coin], [obverse 2/reverse 6, Pl.7 same dies], Rizzo Plate 64, 24). Old light scratch on the obverse on the horse, otherwise good very fine and extremely rare with only three published examples known including this example.
