Sicily, Gela, (c.410-415 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.38 g), Jenknins Group VIII, obv. slow quadriga driven left by male charioteer holding reins, Nike flying to left crowning horses, line border, rev. forepart of man headed bull to left, **G E L AS* above, (S.801, Jenkins Gela, Group VIII, 470 (O91/R182), HGC 2, 355). Lightly toned, struck off centre on obverse from a worn die, very fine with an attractive bull, rare.
