Sicily, Syracuse, Time of Dionysios the Elder, (c.405-380 B.C.), gold twenty litra or tetradrachm, (1.15 g), obv. head of young Herakles to left, wearing lion's skin, to left downwards **S* [YP]A, rev. incuse square, quartered with **S* - V /P - A, in centre a female head to left, (S.947, BMC 135 [p.215], SNG ANS 350-356). Nearly extremely fine, scarce.
