Queen's South Africa Medal 1899, (type 2 reverse), no clasps. 129 Pte E.H.Farmer, Qnslnd: M.R. Impressed. Edge nicks and toned, otherwise very fine.
Entitled to clasps for Cape Colony, Driefontein, and Johannesburg.

Edward Henry Farmer, Enl. in Queensland Mounted Rifles and Emb.01Nov1899; suffered slow and continued fever from 09June to early Sep 1900 at Pretoria, thus missing out on service at Diamond Hill and Belfast; RTA and arrived at Brisbane 16Jan1901; Disch.23Feb1901.
