Kings of Mercia, Burgred, (852-874 AD), silver penny (0.97g), Lunette Type A, moneyer Beagstan, obv. bust right, +BURGRED REX, rev. +BAEGZTA between MON/ETA (S.938; N.423). Flan crack down centre, slightly bent, edge chips between 4 and 7 o'clock, nearly very fine.
