Faustina Junior, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (d.A.D. 175), AE as, issued 156, (11.49 g), obv. FAVSTINA AVG PII AVG FIL, draped bust to right, rev. VENVS around, Venus standing to right, holding apple and sceptre, S C across, (cf.S.4735, RIC 1408) (illustrated); another, issued c.176, (11.70 g), rev. moon and seven stars, (S.5235, RIC 1714); sestertius, issued c.156, (26.39 g), rev. VENVS around, Venus, draped, standing front, head left, holding up apple in right hand, vertical sceptre in left, S C across, (S.4719, RIC 1387). Toned, nearly fine - good fine, some rare. (3)
