Syria, Kingdom of, Seleukos I, (312-280 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.76 g), Antioch on the Orontes mint, first workshop c.300-281 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with [dotted border], rev. Zeus Nikephoros seated on throne to left, Nike in outstretched hand, **ARQ* monogram in left field, *QE* below throne, to right **SELEUKOU*, in exergue **BASILEWS*, (cf.S.6829, SC 13.1c, Newell WSM 909, HGC 9, 16c).
