Thrace, Kings of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.00 g), Sardis mint, issued 297/6-287 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted border, rev. Athena Nikephoros enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, resting arm on shield, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMAXOU, GRE* monogram in outer left field, **G* in exergue, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 287, M.405a, Armenak -, Meydancikkale 2629). Grey patination, with full flan but slightly off centred on obverse, good very fine/very fine and rare.
