CZECHOSLOVAKIA, Republic, President T.G.Masaryk, 1935, in bronze (68mm) by Lucien Bazor, obverse, bust right, inscription around, reverse, Arms of the Republic centre, over a torch, Veritas Vincit/Pravda Vitezi/7/Mars/1935 in four lines. In Monnaie de Paris case of issue, some damage to case, medal with spot near nose, reverse with small edge nick and light spotting, otherwise extremely fine.

Tomas Garrigue Masaryk, philosopher, sociologist, politician, born 7 March 1850 in Hodonin, died 14 September 1937 at Lany. He was the first President of the Republic of Czechoslovakia.
