Williamstown District Lawn Tennis Association, Life Member medal in gold (9ct; 8.31g; 30x33mm), by Rodd, obverse inscribed, 'W.D.L.T.A/Life Member', reverse inscribed, 'Pres. to/C.J.Lauer/as a token of esteem/1948'. Hairlines on central shield, otherwise good very fine.
Mr C.J. 'John' Lauer was elected a life member of the above association in September 1948 having served as vice-president and then president since it was formed in 1926 in Williamstown, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria.
