Racing prize medal, in gold (15ct; 10.93g; 31x35mm), ring top suspension, obverse inscribed, 'JB', reverse inscribed, '1st Prize/Slaughtermen's. H'cap./Presented by/W.A.Grubb./1911'. Hairlines and a few other marks, otherwise very fine.
Mr W.A.Grubb was a carcase butcher and also a racehorse owner.
