Tiberius III, (A.D.698-705), gold solidus, Constantinople mint, Officina S?, (4.51 grams), obv. bust facing of Tiberius III, with close beard, holding spear in right hand across bust and shield in left hand, around [dT]IbERI ySPE AV, rev. Cross potent on three steps, around VICTORIA [AVGUS], CONOB in exergue, (S.1360, DOC 1e, BMC 4 = To.3). Filed on part of the edge, weak in places, otherwise extremely fine and a very rare emperor.
