Inverell Band Contest, presentation fob in voided gold (15ct; 8.77g; 25x38mm), ring top suspension, obverse inscribed, 'JB', reverse inscribed, 'J.Brunell/Bandmaster/from the G.I.B./Bandas a/Memento of/Inverell/Contest/1906'. Very fine.
The Inverell Band Contest was a competition between bands from Emmaville, Tingha and Glen Innes with Glen Innes declared the winner of the B Grade competition. All of these places are towns on the NSW north coast.
