Italy, Kings of Naples and Counts of Provence, Charles II D'Anjou, (A.D. 1285-1309), silver saluto, (3.3 grams), obv. divided shield of Jerusalem, rev. the annunciation of the Virgin, between her and angel a flower in a vase, (Biaggi 1629, Thomsen No.2527, CNI Pl.II, No.9). Full flan, good very fine and scarce.
