Galerius Maximian, (A.D. 305-311), AE folles, Alexandria mint, issued A.D. 308-310, (7.0 grams), obv. laureate head to right, around IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. GENIO IMP ERATORIS, in field K to left, **D*/P on right, in exergue ALE, Genius standing to left naked but for floating chlamys, holding patera and cornucopiae, (cf.S.3719, RIC 101a). Extremely fine, scarce.
