Marcian monogram, all within wreath, CON below off flan, (S.21395, RIC X 542); Anastasius I, (A.D. 491-518), AE nummus, (0.91 g), issue of 491-498, Constantinople Mint, obv. diademed, draped and cuirasssed bust of Anastasius to right, traces of D N ANASTASIVS PP AVG around, rev. monogram of Anastasius, (S.13, MIB 40, DOC 15) (illustrated). First coin toned, fine and scarce, second coin attractively toned, good very fine and very rare. (2)
